West is Best!

 

 

 

The 2011 Lady Wolves lost six seniors from last year's Region I quarterfinal team but this team still has tons of experience combined some talented newcomers and are gunning for their 4th consecutive district title!  But the district title is only a short stop as they look to avenge a playoff loss to Irving Macarthur last season and achieving their goal of getting to State. 

 

 

 

 

 

Varsity
Of the 13 players, varsity returns 7 lettermen and 2 starters from last year's Region I quarterfinalist team including co-captains Khiran Lakhian and Pagie Womack. The roster consists of 5 seniors, 6 juniors and 1 sophomore and 1 freshman. Take a look at the roster   to see the varsity players.

Pre-season starts with a scrimmages with Dallas Carter, South Garland and Naaman Forest.
The Lady Wolves will compete in District 8-5A in Region I which includes Allen, Plano, Plano East, Flower Mound, Flower Mound Marcus, Lewisville, and Hebron.

The Lady Wolves will be participating in three tournaments - Allen Hoopfest, McKinney Tournament, and the Sandra Meadows Classic.

 

The team will be playing a fast paced, high scoring style which will be exciting for the Plano West fans as they try to defend their district title.  Take a look at the Varsity schedule  and come out and support the Lady Wolves!!!

Junior Varsity
This year's roster consists of 1 junior, 3 sophomores, and 8 freshman. Take a look at the roster  to see the JV players. JV is composed of players from both Shepton HS and Jasper HS.

In additon to a full slate of district and non-district games the JV will also look to defend their title in the Allen Hoopfest tournament.  Take a look at the JV Schedule  and come out and support the Lady Wolves!!!
